Popular brands include Corona, Sol, and Tecate. Your guests will appreciate the selection. After all, you are celebrating Mexico. Provide lime wedges as garnishes for the beer. Concerning the margaritas, there is nothing like the classic. Traditionally, classic margaritas are made of tequila, cointreau or triple sec, and fresh limejuice. Keep it traditional. After all, margaritas are very popular in Mexico. According to some sources, the drink was developed in a bar in Mexico for a showgirl who was allergic to most other alcoholic drinks. Other sources believe that the drink came into being at a Christmas party thrown by Texan socialite Marjorie Sames in Acapulco in the 1940s. Regardless of its origins, a Cinco de Mayo party can’t go on without the margarita.
